Covid-19, also known as the novel coronavirus, is a global pandemic that has greatly affected the world. In Cambodia, the virus has caused immense disruption to daily life, with many businesses and services being shut down or restricted especially in the tourism and hospitality sectors. The government took various measures to contain the spread of the virus, such as implementing travel restrictions and social distancing protocols. Cambodia reopened to travellers in late 2021 but the effects of Covid-19 continue to have a significant impact on Cambodia’s economy and society.
