Phsar Leu (Sihanoukville Market)
In the heart of Sihanoukville’s downtown is Phsar Leu (Sihanoukville market), the biggest market in the city.
No matter what you need, be it fresh fruit, a hair cut and shave, electrical goods, vegetables, meat, clothes, shoes Phsar Leu has pretty much everything.
Where is Phsar Leu (Sihanoukville market)
The market is on 7 Makara Street and opens early in the morning until around 7pm. There is plenty of motorbike parking for those of you with your own transport and the parking fee is currently 25 cents. (1000 riel).
Things to Do at Phsar Leu
If you fancy some genuine locally-made food then there are plenty of stalls inside selling soup, fried rice, noodles and spring rolls.
Like all markets in Cambodia, such as the Old Market in Siem Reap and Central Market in the capital Phnom Penh, this one is a hive of activity and certainly overloads the senses.
